Bollywood suffers as Indian Radio Loses Audience

Who would have thought that the success or failure of the Bollywood movie would be directly linked with the radio industry? I heard this from one movie producer who was giving reasons why his recent film has flopped. So I decided to investigate his claim.
The film producer was told that there is a conspiracy against radio industry who have all got together to deny his movies to airplay for songs in his movies.

I was fascinated by his claims so I decided to dig even deeper, so I started to monitor the number of radio stations and the results were amusing. Then I decided to visit the Cinema bosses and spoke to the managers, they confirm that the songs are produced for the movies long before the movie is release. Some times as much as 6 months before the movie is released. They first hook the public to like songs so that the people go to watch it.  So, as the songs got hit there is more chance that the people will watch the movie.

After that, I enquire few of the radio advertising agencies and they also revealed the truth of successful movie is the advertisement of their songs on the radio. Then, I asked IRAM leaders about this and they even agree and said more the listeners in a particular city more will be changes of the movie got hit in that particular. The IRAM teams revealed this through their radio audience measurement survey of the topline figure which is available free on their website (www.iramradio.com) and city-wise detailed information is also available to the radio station bossed and advertising agencies as per paid subscription.

By looking at the figure I got really shocked how the Bollywood has really suffered due to the lack of radio listeners as the top line figures on the IRAM website clearly depicts the listenership scenario.
